Estrella Palacios Highlights Preventive Actions at the “Mesa de la Paz” to Strengthen Security in Mazatlán

On Tuesday, Mazatlán Mayor Estrella Palacios Domínguez participated in the Regional Security and Peacebuilding Roundtable, held at the facilities of the Third Military Region, where authorities from all three levels of government gathered to strengthen interinstitutional coordination in matters of security and social well-being.

The meeting, led by officials from the Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA) and attended by representatives from the Navy (SEMAR), National Guard, State Attorney General’s Office, and municipal police departments, focused on reviewing joint strategies implemented across southern Sinaloa — reaffirming each institution’s commitment to maintaining an orderly and secure environment for citizens.

In her remarks, Mayor Estrella Palacios reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to working hand in hand with the armed forces and civil security institutions. She emphasized that public safety is a top priority for her government and that she will continue promoting public policies addressing social causes and strengthening community cohesion.

Palacios Domínguez also highlighted the importance of preventive programs, the reinforcement of the municipal police, and direct engagement with citizens as key pillars to building a safer Mazatlán — one with opportunities for development and well-being for all families.

Under the leadership of Mayor Estrella Palacios Domínguez, the Municipal Government of Mazatlán remains steadfast in its commitment to working closely with state and federal authorities to ensure safety, promote peace, and build a future of stability and trust for the port city.
