Tourists Everywhere! Mazatlán Welcomes Two More Cruise Ships

The cruise ships Norwegian Bliss and Navigator of the Seas arrived at the port this Thursday, bringing a total of 8,000 passengers and crew members.

More than 8,000 foreign visitors are in Mazatlán today, arriving aboard two major tourist vessels.

The port terminal welcomed the Norwegian Bliss early in the morning, entering Mazatlán at 6:45 a.m. With these two ships, November closes with 18 cruise arrivals, transporting more than 21,000 visitors to the port.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Tourism, from January to October, Mazatlán has received 82 cruise ships carrying 305,381 visitors, generating an estimated 475 million pesos in economic revenue.

The Norwegian Bliss opened Thursday’s cruise arrivals after departing Puerto Vallarta as part of its Vallarta–Mazatlán–Cabo route. Reports indicate the vessel brought 4,888 passengers, who disembarked to explore shopping areas, beaches, and tourist attractions around the city. It also transported 1,624 crew members.

An hour later, the Navigator of the Seas docked at the pier, arriving from Los Cabos and continuing its Cabo–Mazatlán–Vallarta route.

The Navigator of the Seas carried 3,907 passengers, who quickly joined the tourist flow through the Historic Center, Golden Zone, and coastal corridor.
The ship also brought 1,268 crew members, responsible for essential operations during its port call.

Together, both ships brought over 8,000 people — passengers and crew — to Mazatlán.
