Mazatlán, Sinaloa, December 18, 2025 — Musical excellence will return to the most iconic stages of the port with the XVI Gordon Campbell Season. Described as «renewed and enhanced,» the Artistic Director Gordon Campbell, in collaboration with the Mazatlán Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism, and Arts, has presented a program of eight concerts designed to captivate both locals and visitors during the first quarter of 2026.
At a press conference held at Casa Haas, Maestro Campbell — recently awarded the Sinaloa Arts Award 2025 — was joined by Maestro Zoila Fernández, Artistic Director of Cultura Mazatlán, and Guianeya Román, Administrative Director of the Philamusic AC Foundation.
“For me, the innovation this year is introducing for the first time the group ‘Verdad a Voces,’ an a cappella ensemble formed here in Mazatlán; it will be extraordinary. Additionally, we will have Maestro Alexandre Da Costa, a world-class violinist, who, along with a Canadian pianist and myself on the horn, will offer a Brahms program that promises to be unforgettable,” said Maestro Campbell enthusiastically.
For her part, Zoila Fernández celebrated Campbell’s legacy in the region and emphasized that this collaboration between the Foundation and the Cultural Institute strengthens the city’s artistic offerings, providing international platforms for Sinaloan musicians.
