Two more ships will dock tomorrow, closing November with strong maritime tourism
Mazatlán is experiencing a vibrant tourism surge this Wednesday with the simultaneous arrival of three international cruise ships that together brought in 9,813 passengers and 3,290 crew members, creating high movement throughout the tourist zone and the Historic Center.
Since early morning, the port welcomed the New Amsterdam, Norwegian Jade, and Carnival Panorama, all sailing from Vallarta toward Mazatlán and other Pacific destinations.
The streets of downtown and the tourist corridor were filled with service providers, guides, and transportation operators offering tours to the city’s main attractions: the Lighthouse, the Malecón, the Sea of Cortez Aquarium, the Historic Center, and the Golden Zone.
A strong finish for November
Mayor Estrella Palacios Domínguez highlighted that Mazatlán is closing the month with exceptional tourism activity, noting that this week alone the city will receive nearly 21,400 cruise passengers, generating an estimated 31 million pesos in economic impact across local businesses and services.
