“Mazatlán, I Want You Clean” Collects 1,380 Bags of Trash Across Three Zones

With a total collection of 46 cubic meters of solid waste—equivalent to 1,380 bags of trash and nearly seven dump trucks—the Mazatlán te Quiero Limpio (Mazatlán, I Want You Clean) program, promoted by the Municipal Government, was carried out this Saturday, November 29, 2025, across three sectors of the city.

The areas served during this edition of the environmental-cleanup strategy were Infonavit El Conchi, Avenida Las Torres, and a section of the Mazatlán beachfront, supported by municipal workers.

These efforts successfully fulfilled the objectives of this important environmental sanitation program, led by Mayor Estrella Palacios Domínguez, which aims to transform Mazatlán into a cleaner and more orderly city.

As part of the activities carried out by the Municipal Water and Sewerage Board (JUMAPAM), a customer service module was also set up in Infonavit El Conchi to bring commercial services closer to residents of the area.

In this sector alone, 30 cubic meters of trash, debris, and overgrowth were removed. Along the beachfront, the Operadora y Administradora de Playas (OAP) collected 10 cubic meters, with the help of student volunteers from local schools.

Meanwhile, personnel from the Public Works Department removed an additional six cubic meters of waste from avenue medians, including weeds, bulky items, and discarded furniture left in public spaces.
