The 28th Edition of Fiesta Amigos Mazatlán Inaugurated with the Presence of Sinaloa’s Secretary of Tourism, Mireya Sosa Osuna

Tonight marked the inauguration of the 28th edition of Fiesta Amigos Mazatlán, held on a stunning seaside stage that blended spectacle, hospitality, and a clear message.

“Mazatlán not only celebrates its tourism legacy — it is writing a new chapter for the meetings industry,” said Sinaloa’s Secretary of Tourism, Mireya Sosa Osuna, in her welcoming remarks. She expressed her gratitude to the tourism allies who keep the heartbeat of this destination alive, reminding everyone why Mazatlán remains one of a kind.

“The only sun-and-beach destination with a historic center filled with culture, art, and gastronomy,” she added.

The opening icebreaker cocktail set the tone for an experience that goes beyond networking, noted Gustavo Contreras, journalist from Panorama Turístico magazine, a national promoter of the meetings industry.

In the coming days, a series of reports and chronicles will highlight the stories, infrastructure, innovation, and partnerships shaping the MICE profile of the Pearl of the Pacific.

“This is a special coverage — and we’re here to tell it step by step,” said a tourism operator from Mexico City, who arrived this afternoon with a group of event organizers and specialized media to experience La Gran Fiesta Amigo de Mazatlán, a celebration that symbolizes resilience and a renewed vision — a true Sea of Stories.

“All eyes are now set on Fiesta Amigos Mazatlán 2025, an edition that promises to set the tone for the industry,” he concluded.

The private event was attended by local hotel executives, as well as state and municipal officials.
