Mazatlán, Sinaloa.— In September 2025, at least two rescue operations were carried out in Mazatlán, during which five families were evacuated and assistance was provided to eight vehicles affected by flooding.
Authorities confirmed that none of those involved sustained injuries; the intervention was limited to facilitating safe passage through flooded streets.
The Municipal Civil Protection office reported that rainfall accumulations reached between 50 and 75 millimeters, causing water buildup and the temporary suspension of traffic on several roads.
