Personnel from ENSAR Mazatlán (Naval Search, Rescue, and Maritime Surveillance Station) shared their expertise in maritime search and rescue operations focused on safeguarding human life at sea during the third “Aquatic Rescue Workshop 2025,” held from October 13 to 17 at the Fourth Naval Region facilities in coordination with the Sinaloa State Health Secretariat.
According to an official statement, the Mexican Navy, through the Secretariat of the Navy (SEMAR), conducted the course as part of the Health Secretariat’s accident prevention program for vulnerable groups, which requested naval support for the workshop.
ENSAR personnel trained firefighters, civil protection members, and other emergency response teams in standardized rescue protocols, emphasizing aquatic rescue techniques and first aid procedures to strengthen their ability to respond in maritime emergencies.
The Mexican Navy and the Armada of Mexico extended their best wishes to the participants, reaffirming their commitment to protect national sovereignty, promote public safety, and preserve human life at sea.
