Mazatlán will burst into color on Sunday, January 18, 2026, with the 12th edition of the Píntate 5K Color Run by TV Azteca — proudly sponsored by El Encanto Desarrollos along with other participating companies.
Participation
This iconic local event, known for its fun and family-friendly atmosphere, expects around 1,200 registered participants, plus many more who typically join last-minute, shared Adis Sánchez, manager of TV Azteca Mazatlán.
This year’s Píntate 5K comes with exciting new features, including double the number of paint stations, making the experience even more vibrant and enjoyable for everyone — kids, teens, adults, and even pets, since the race is fully pet-friendly.
“It’s a race full of emotion. It’s entirely recreational, not competitive. What matters most to us is families and friends coming together. Pets are absolutely welcome. The colored powder is food-grade, non-toxic, and completely safe. We’ve worked with the same supplier for 12 years,” Sánchez explained.
Registration
The run will take place on Sunday, January 18 at 7:00 a.m., covering a 5-kilometer route starting at the Fisherman’s Monument, heading toward the Sinaloa Shield in Olas Altas, and looping back to the starting point.
Registration costs 150 pesos, and race kits will be available starting Tuesday, November 18 at the TV Azteca Mazatlán offices.
