The Historic Center Council, led by Lic. Amado Sabas Guzmán Reynaud, Promotes Palm Tree Reforestation in Olas Altas
Mazatlán, Sin.– With the firm purpose of continuing to beautify our port and reinforce the tropical essence that so strongly defines us, the Historic Center Council of Mazatlán has launched a project to plant palm trees and shrubs along the Malecón, specifically in the Olas Altas section.
As part of this initiative, around 40 mature palm trees will be planted. In addition to providing shade and freshness, they will bring greater vitality to one of the city’s most iconic and visited spots.
This effort goes beyond simply planting trees; it is about joining forces. Local businesses have enthusiastically stepped up to support the care and maintenance of the new palm trees, showing the community’s commitment to preserving and enhancing the image of our beloved Mazatlán.
It is worth noting that this project has the support and approval of the Honorable Mazatlán City Council, which continues to promote actions that strengthen the port’s natural beauty and foster a more pleasant environment for both locals and visitors.
Through these actions, Olas Altas will remain a space full of life, tradition, and charm, reaffirming Mazatlán as a truly unique tropical destination in the world.
